Today I went to the Oquirrh Mountain temple dedication. I also got to go to the open house and see inside the temple. When I first got to the dedication they showed pictures of the temple and I remembered most of the pictures but, some of them I didn’t remember. The rest of the time President Thomas S. Monson and some other people spoke. After that everyone did this thing called the Hosanna Shout. I felt really good after the dedication. This is the first time I have ever been to a dedication and to an open house. And for my first time I had a great time. I can’t wait until another open house and dedication. I had a great time.

  1. Lauren,
Grandpa and I wish we could have seen the dedication. You shared such a special time with your dad. You will always remember this experience. We are proud of you and Morgan for keeping a journal, so someday your children will be able to share in your experiences. You are setting a good example for everyone.
    We love you!
